Put Your Own Twist On It

I'll just go ahead and say it...nobody has time for lengthy takedowns!

You might like the protection and durability that braid and loc styles provide, but twists offer those same benefits with the added perk that they're easy as Sunday morning to remove! Here's more tea...if you give your install a nice ACV soak, and a thorough wash, you can even get a nice twist-out from the whole deal. Nice, huh?

Cuban Twists
Go to; Grow too

These are our go-to twists for maximum growth. Cuban twists are compatible with every hair type but are especially wonderful for soft, silky hair; since the texture is more coarse, they hold like nobody's business. Perhaps what youll appreciate most is the easy takedown. Remove them gently to reveal a super defined twist-out that you can rock for another week or two!

  • Texture: Coarse & Straight

  • Maintenance: Very little- check out our YouTube video on braid pruning (works for twists too)

  • Density: Moderate

  • Default length: Lower back

  • Not optimal for thinning, balding, or patchy hair

  • Duration: 8-12 weeks; touchup at 4-5  weeks

DISCLAIMERS

  • For best results, 2 inches of hair is recommended

  • Best twist style to hide blunt ends and color.

BEEtwists
Human Install

BEEtwists are our premier knotless twist style, installed with 100% human braid hair. The fun part about these is that they give two different looks when dry vs wet; just like natural hair! This is definitely the style to experiment with fun updos. They can also be curled with rollers, Flexi-rods, and braid/twist-outs. BEEtwists can also be installed as starter locs to help skip past the beginner locs stage.

  • Texture: Kinky Curly

  • Maintenance: Low

  • Volume: Moderate

  • Mimics your own density

  • Not optimal for thinning, balding, or patchy hair

  • Duration: 8-12 weeks; touchup at 5-6  weeks

  • For best results, 3 inches of hair is recommended

DISCLAIMERS

  • Bluntly cut ends will begin to stick out of the twists, causing the style to age prematurely. You should seriously reconsider this style if you will have had a haircut within the 30 days preceding your appointment.

  • For best results, 3 inches of hair is recommended

Cherokee Twists
For the Free Spirited

Non-uniformed, loosely twisted, feather light Cherokee twists are different from typical twists because of their COILY TEXTURE. They're fluffy and bouncy, but can be squeezed down into a smaller bun that's also safe for work. They give a messy, boho chic kind of vibe and look best with accessories.

  • Texture: Kinky-curly

  • Maintenance: None

  • Volume: Full- adds more fullness to your own density without extra weight

  • Default length: waist

  • Not optimal for thinning, balding, or patchy hair

  • Duration: 8-12weeks; touchup at 5-6 weeks

  • Makes big buns

2-Strand-Twists
All Natural

Give your hair a break from added extensions; have your natural hair hydrated and twisted up. This is definitely the style to experiment with fun updos, as they keep your ends tucked away from the elements. They can also be curled with rollers, Flexi-rods, and braid/twist-outs. They can also be installed as starter locs to help skip past the beginner locs stage.

  • Texture: your own texture

  • Maintenance: Low

  • Volume: your own density

  • Default length: your own length

  • Duration: 3-4 weeks; touchups not available for this style

DISCLAIMERS

  • Bluntly cut ends will not stay twisted in this style, causing the style to age prematurely. You should seriously reconsider this style if you will have had a haircut within the 30 days preceding your appointment.

  • For best results, 6 inches of NATURAL hair is recommended; heat damaged ends will unravel more quickly than natural ends.
